On February 7th 2012 we had a meeting, Mr. Burke talked about his job as the city treasurer. He gave us the the in's and out's of how the city handles money, budgeting, and etc.

In patrol corners we discussed what would take to run a business in your preferred career. In this case (the photo above) it was a game company with its own line of consoles and arcade cabinets.

At the end of the meeting we enjoyed a game of steal the bacon. Scouts large and small competed to get the object placed in the center of the playing field first and to bring it back before they got tagged.

Here is a timelapse of the meeting, this is more for historical/documentary purposes than for entertainment. The idea is that in 20 years you could go back and see a typical meeting in 2012. Anyways, I'll try to choose some better music next time ...

Also very soon members of Troop 501 will be able to see past meeting in their entirety. Hopefully the the troop historian will be online very soon -writing articles and posting photos.
