On January 3 we held elections at the meeting in preparation for the wave of new scouts joining this year. Due to the fact that there are 15 confirmed and somewhere around 20 other potential new scouts, its quite likely that the troop will more than double in size this year. To make room for all of these new scouts we have doubled the number of patrols from 3 to 6.

Nearly the entire leadership staff was replaced with a different scout then it previously had. Many attendants of the Philmont high adventure trip took roles a patrol leaders to guide the numerous number or new scouts this year. Their new leadership duties begin this week.

This week we planned the menu for the Klondike campout. We have a total of 13 people attending this campout. The menu and duty roster will be distributed on the mailing list, the forums and possibly facebook  (as soon as I get a copy of it). see the calender entry for more info (you must sign in to view it).

Note: There will be on going maintenance and a good possibility of downtime on the forums for the next 2 weeks.

Nearly every leadership position recived a diffrent scout from it had perviously. New PLs (Patrol Leaders) and APLs (Assistant Patrol Leaders) have been elected to for all of the new and old patrols. It is currently unknown if the patrols eill going with new names, mascots, flags, and .etc or sticking with what has been done previously this year. The new leaderships duties begin next week.
